About N4Pcomputing in Harrogate
N4Pcomputing began in 1997 in Harrogate as a voluntary action group providing low cost computer repair, training & free donated PC equipment. In 2005 N4Pcomputing expanded cover to include Leeds, York & Skipton working with refugee groups & human rights groups both in the UK & abroad.
From Leeds to Ecuador & Yorkshire to Turkmenistan, N4Pcomputing took Yorkshire forward without help of big government initiatives or funding.
Adapting Non Profit IT in the Community & Big Society in The North
Non Profit Computers & Non Profit IT plans can bring IT to the community in the North of England without the need of big government. University of Sunderland's 2007 International IT in the Community Conference, brought together IT professionals & community organisers to discuss it.
N4Pcomputing, founded by an IT Professional in Harrogate with over 20 years of experience, is available to discuss your big society launch in that spirit of The North's launch for alternatives.
