N4Pcomputing is a voluntary group managed within a constitutional framework. Computer support and technical advice is provided, free where possible, depending upon a variety of eligibility criteria. Based in North Yorkshire, N4Pcomputing also raises both funds and accepts donations when applicable for its work.
Mission Scope
N4Pcomputing is the executive computer wing of "intercambio.co.uk", a non-governmental organisation founded in November 2004.The broader aims and objectives of N4pcomputing are mandated in the constitution of intercambio.co.uk, namely clause 3: "aims and objectives". This is also interpreted to include supporting computing projects that will increase the outputs and sales of creative works by artists based in North Yorkshire and the wider Yorkshire Regions. N4Pcomputing is able to serve small scale, private project needs on a fee basis where this will not prejudice this intent.
Service Criterias
Individuals with incomes above the national average cannot be considered for free computing support. Those individuals within this category are encouraged to use our services on the basis that they will donate to and/or assist in our fundraising activities. Please see our page "legal framework" for more information. We cannot accept funding nor committ to supporting projects that might prejudice this framework. We look forward to working with you.
